Cooking Classes

In Home Basic or advanced cooking classes for one, two, or up to 6 people.

You as the customer will choose from the two class options below. In My Kitchen Catering Co. is open to all menu option ideas. Please just let your Chef you what you have been craving to cook!

Basic

Basic Cooking Classes will teach you the fundamentals of cooking:

  • Basic Knife Skills
  • Searing
  • Sautéing
  • Temperatures
  • Blanching
  • Shocking

Advanced

Advanced Cooking Classes will teach you:

  • How to make sauces, butters, and vinaigrettes
  • How to Sauté and Roast Meats
  • Plate Decorating
  • International cuisine flavoring
  • Emphasis placed on prepping, timing, and organization

Basic Cooking Class Pricing

1.5hr basic cooking class for 1 – $85

1.5hr basic cooking class for 2- $165

2 hr. basic cooking class for group (3 or more)- $70 per person

Advanced Cooking Class Pricing

1.5hr advanced cooking class for 1- $95

1.5hr advanced cooking class for 2- $175

2 hr. advanced cooking class for group (3 or more)- $80 per person

On the day of the class, the Chef will arrive 30 minutes early for preparation.

Safety is important to us and we want to make sure you are safe when we start class. In order to protect your feet please be prepared to wear closed-toed shoes at all times during the class. If your hair is long, please secure it.

A 50% deposit of the total cost of the class will be needed to hold the date. Remaining amount will be required when the Chef arrives.

ALL cancellations require 48 hours notice. Deposits will be forfeited if cancellations are not made with in proper timing.

PLEASE NOTE: In My Kitchen Catering Co. Cooking Classes are not appropriate for children. Please make sure prior arrangements are set for all children in the house hold (ages 1-7).

VERY IMPORTANT: Please advise In My Kitchen Catering Co. of any allergies or aversions before reserving your class date. We will need to prepare accordingly, for special dietary needs.
